ŠANCE is the job fair of the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), held twice a year, in spring and autumn, on the university's Žižkov campus. Each edition brings together more than 100 companies and organisations from a wide range of sectors, including banks, consulting firms and IT companies. Different employers exhibit on each of the three days, so it's worth coming back more than once.
Beyond meeting recruiters and exploring current job openings, visitors can talk through their career plans with experts, make professional contacts and get a feel for the job market. A rich accompanying programme runs alongside the fair: CV and LinkedIn profile reviews, professional CV photos with make-up, business-plan consultations, fashion advice, career workshops, presentations by student organisations, a health-awareness programme and a visitor competition with prizes.
The fair is aimed at VŠE students and graduates, whether they're looking for an internship, a first job or their next career move.
