About HackerFest

HackerFest is the Czechoslovak IT security conference run by GOPAS, one of the region's largest IT training schools. 2026 is its 14th edition. Every year it focuses on the most dangerous hacking techniques in use right now and, just as importantly, on how to defend against them. The speakers are working security consultants, penetration testers, incident responders and researchers who spend their days attacking and defending real environments.

What to expect

It's a full day of in-depth technical talks from a single conference hall in Prague. You can attend in person or follow the whole programme via live stream. This year's topics cover the attack surface of AI model integrations via the Model Context Protocol, practical attacks against passkeys, security audits of everyday network services, a real incident case study from detection to recovery, Windows memory internals, and modern Active Directory attacks that still work against Windows Server 2025. The talks explain how the attacks work and what defenders can do about them. Every participant gets 10 days of access to the recorded talks after the event, so nothing is lost if you miss a session.

Who it's for

HackerFest is built for CIOs, IT directors and managers, IT security managers and security specialists, and for anyone seriously interested in IT security, hacking and ethical hacking. Talks are delivered in Czech and Slovak.
