Emails from Lumind

Which emails you can turn off, and which ones always send.

Lumind sends two kinds of email, and only one of them is optional.

Optional

New-event notifications, recommendations and anything newsletter-like. You can switch these off in your account settings, and off means off — no digest, no "just this once".

Always sent

Email that exists to make your account work:

  • Verifying your email address when you sign up
  • Password reset links
  • Email-change confirmation links
  • Invitations to scan tickets at an event

These are not marketing, and there is no opt-out — without them you could not recover an account or accept an invitation. They are only ever sent in response to something you or an organizer did.

Emails from organizers

If you buy a ticket, the organizer can see your name and email on their attendee list, because they need to be able to reach the people coming to their event. What they send you is between you and them and is not controlled by your Lumind email setting.

Not receiving something you expect

Check spam first — verification and reset mail is the most commonly filtered. If a reset or verification link never arrives, request it again from the sign-in page. If it still does not, contact us.
