Networking and connections
The short profile fields your connections see, and how you choose who that is.
Your account settings include a Networking section: a few short fields about yourself. They are part of connections — the people you meet at events and connect with in the Lumind app.
What you can add

- A LinkedIn URL — validated as a real LinkedIn profile link, so a mistyped or unrelated address is rejected rather than silently saved
In the Lumind app you can also add other contact links (Instagram, X, Telegram, WhatsApp, a website, an email address).
Who sees them
Only the people you connect with. You connect by showing someone your personal code in the Lumind app and letting them scan it — or by scanning theirs. That is the only switch there is: you either show someone your code or you do not. There is no separate "visible to other attendees" setting, no public profile, and no list of who is attending an event.
Your connections see your name, photo, these fields and your contact links. They do not see who else you are connected with.
Changing your mind
Clear a field and save, and it is removed from your profile. Remove a connection in the Lumind app and that person no longer sees any of this; it is removed for both of you.
What is never optional
Buying a ticket always shows your name and email to that event's organizer, regardless of anything here. They need it to run the event and to contact you if something changes.
