Finding events
Search, category pages and the full filter set — how to narrow thousands of events down to the few you want.
Every event on Lumind lives on the events page. You can get there from Events in the top navigation, and there are three ways to narrow things down.
Categories
Events are grouped into broad categories — Computer Science, Business & Management, Design & Creative, Science & Engineering, Career Development, Education, Languages & Culture, Health & Lifestyle, Community & Networking — each with its own subcategories. Hovering Events in the header opens the full list; picking one takes you to a page scoped to just that topic.
Search
The search bar matches event titles and organizer names. It sits in the hero on the homepage and inside the events page itself.
Filters
The filter toolbar on the events page lets you stack conditions:
- Location — the city or venue
- Organizer — everything from one organization
- Format — online, in person, or hybrid
- Event type — workshop, conference, hackathon, meetup, lecture, panel discussion, summit, webinar, bootcamp, expo, networking or charity
- Language — the language the event runs in
- Level — beginner, intermediate or advanced
- Dates — a from/to range
- Max price
- Show past events — off by default; turn it on to see events that already happened
Your filters live in the page URL, so you can bookmark a search or send it to someone and they will see exactly what you see.
Results are sorted soonest-first until you choose otherwise. Past events, when shown, always sit after upcoming ones.
