What is Lumind?
A discovery platform for educational events across Europe — and a toolkit for the people who run them.
Lumind is a place to find events that are actually worth your time: hackathons, conferences, workshops, meetups, lectures, bootcamps and more, listed by the people who run them.
Two kinds of people use it.
If you are looking for events, you can browse the whole catalogue, narrow it down by topic, city, date, format, language, level and price, save the ones you like, and — for events that sell through Lumind — buy a ticket without leaving the site.
If you run events, you can create an organization profile (we call it an organizer account), publish events, sell tickets, watch how they are doing, and scan guests in at the door.
Where tickets come from
Not every event on Lumind is sold on Lumind. Each event uses one of two modes, chosen by its organizer:
- Internal ticketing — tickets are sold here. You pick a tier, pay by card, and get a PDF ticket in your account.
- External ticketing — the event is listed here, but the organizer sells on their own site. The event page links you there.
Both are normal, and the event page always makes it clear which one you are looking at.
What Lumind does not do
Lumind does not run the events themselves. The organizer sets the price, writes the description, decides the refund policy and is the one who takes your money — Lumind is the place you find them and, for internal ticketing, the checkout they use.
