How payment works
Card payments through Stripe, paid to the organizer — plus currencies, tax and what Lumind stores.
Tickets bought on Lumind are paid by card through Stripe. The payment form is Stripe's own, embedded in the checkout page.
Who receives the money
The organizer does, directly. Each organization connects its own Stripe account to Lumind, and your payment lands there rather than passing through a Lumind account first. This is why an event cannot sell tickets here until its organizer has finished connecting Stripe.
Currencies
Organizers price their tickets in one of: EUR, CZK, USD, GBP or UAH. Prices are always shown in the currency the organizer set, with its own symbol — €15.00, 350.00 Kč, and so on. There is no conversion step: you are charged in the listed currency, and your bank handles any conversion from your own.
Tax
The price on a ticket tier is the price the organizer set. Any applicable tax is calculated by Stripe at the payment step and added on top — the checkout page says so before you continue, and the final amount is shown in the payment form before you confirm.
Card details
Lumind never sees or stores your card number. It is entered into Stripe's form and stays with Stripe.
When your ticket is confirmed
Stripe tells Lumind that a payment succeeded a moment after it clears, and your ticket flips to paid then — not at the instant you press pay. The confirmation page waits for that. If it takes longer than expected, the ticket still lands in My tickets by itself.
