Selling tickets
Choosing between selling on Lumind or on your own site, and how ticket tiers work.
Each event picks one of two selling modes.
External — you sell on your own site. Lumind lists the event and links buyers to your ticket page. Nothing else on Lumind changes: no tiers, no checkout, no attendee list here.
Internal — you sell through Lumind. You define tiers, buyers check out on the event page, and you get an attendee list, check-in scanning and revenue figures in your dashboard. This requires a connected Stripe account.
Ticket tiers
A tier is one thing someone can buy: Early bird, Standard, Student, VIP. Each has a name, an optional description, a price, a currency and a total quantity.
- Description. Each line becomes one bullet in the buyer-facing feature list — write one benefit per line.
- Currency. EUR, CZK, USD, GBP or UAH. Pick it once; it is locked as soon as a tier has sales.
- Quantity. Your capacity for that tier. Lumind shows "X spots left" only when 10 or fewer remain, so a healthy tier does not advertise how few people have bought.
Once a tier has sales
You can still raise the price or the quantity, and edit the name and description. You cannot shrink the quantity below what has already sold, and you cannot delete a tier that has sales — that would strip real buyers of a valid ticket.
Free events
Mark the event as free and it needs no tiers at all. Attendees simply show up; there is nothing to check out.
What it costs
Listing on Lumind is free, always. If you choose to sell tickets through us, we will show the fee upfront before you switch it on.
