Your public organization page
What visitors see on your organizer profile, and how to keep it looking right.
Every organizer gets a public page listing their events and telling people who they are. It is linked from Organized by on each of your event pages, and from the organizations directory.
What is on it
- Header — your logo, name and short description.
- About — your approach and origin story, if you filled them in.
- Gallery — your uploaded photos.
- Events — everything you have published that is currently visible. Hidden events never appear here.
Editing it
The Profile tab of your dashboard controls all of it. Changes go live immediately.
One detail about the gallery: uploading photos adds to what is already there rather than replacing it. To remove a photo, delete that specific photo — it is removed from your page and from our storage.
Why it is worth the effort
People deciding whether to spend money on a ticket from an organization they have not heard of will click through to this page. A logo, a few real photos and a couple of honest paragraphs do more for conversion than anything else you can change. The story fields are capped at 500 characters each, which is roughly the right length anyway.
The directory
Organizations with a profile also appear in Lumind's public directory of organizers, where people browse by who is running things rather than by what is on.
